Dr. Samer A. Itani, DDS
Dr. Itani completed dental school at the University of Prague in the Czech Republic. He has over two decades of experience in the specialty and founded the Itani Dental Group in San Francisco in 2009. Dr. Itani has focused on patients with special needs, dental phobia, and many other complex medical conditions requiring specialized, compassionate care, with sedation and hospital dentistry available. He is the practice’s provider of implant dentistry and Smile Design dentistry.
Dr. Christina Woo, DDS
Dr. Woo earned her DDS from UCLA and completed her general practice residency at Highland Hospital in Oakland, where she trained extensively in treating elderly and special needs populations. Dr. Woo is the practice’s Invisalign and cosmetic dentistry provider, giving patients a comfortable, confidence-building option delivered with the same specialized care behind every Itani Dental appointment.
Dr. Jae You Kim, DMD
Dr. Kim earned his DMD from Western University of Health Sciences. He also holds an MS in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, with research experience in drug delivery and nanoparticle technology. Dr. Kim has a particular focus on house call dentistry and dental clearances, bringing specialized, patient-centered care to those who are homebound, hospital-bound, or managing dental phobia. Fluent in Korean and English, he also extends that same accessible care to the practice’s Korean-speaking patients.
Cayman La Rocca, DDS
Dr. La Rocca earned his DDS from NYU College of Dentistry and completed his general practice residency at the Palo Alto VA Hospital and Stanford Hospital, where he received advanced training in surgical and hospital dentistry. Dr. La Rocca has a particular focus on hospital-based dentistry, treating patients whose medical complexity requires care beyond a standard dental chair — extending the practice’s specialty to some of our most medically vulnerable patients.
