Itani Dental is a hospital-affiliated dental practice. Dr. Itani and our associates hold hospital privileges at Kaiser Permanente and Sutter CPMC. We are sometimes called in on short notice to provide urgent dental clearance for hospital patients, for example, patients who need to be cleared of dental infection risk before a time-sensitive procedure such as cardiac (heart valve or bypass) surgery.
Because these patients cannot wait, an urgent hospital call may require us to move a scheduled office appointment. We know this is inconvenient, and we do everything we can to give notice, offer a prompt new time, and make it right.
